By installing or using the Magpie provider app or this website, you agree to these terms. Magpie is an early testnet, provided as-is.

Points are not money

Points earned on the testnet are not money, not a cryptocurrency or token, not redeemable for anything, and not a promise of future rewards or value. They are a record of the work your machine contributes while the network is being built and tested. There is no purchase and no payment.

Voluntary participation

You choose to run the software on hardware you control, and you can stop at any time. You are responsible for your own electricity, hardware, and internet costs. The app runs an open-weights inference engine locally to complete network jobs.

Fair use

Do not attempt to defraud, game, or attack the network — for example by faking work, falsifying hardware capability, or submitting results you did not compute. We may remove accounts that do so.

Testnet changes

This is experimental software. We may change, pause, reset, or discontinue the testnet, the points system, or any feature at any time, without notice and without liability.

No warranty

The software and service are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the testnet.
